Truth be told, we’ve been spending a lot of time at home lately. As the quarantines have forced everyone to become homebodies, many people as young as their early 20s have spent the time developing its aesthetic. This is easy to see with the multitude of social media posts of houseplants and the pots and vases that they adorn.
As the world has been turned upside down, many of us have chosen to decorate our homes with things that set our mind at ease. The very items you’ll find in the collections of Sunday Studios.
Sunday Studios carries a range of trendy yet elegant home decor and homeware at affordable prices. With items for every room from the living room to the kitchen ranging from Php 200 to Php 7000.
Currently, they showcase a selection of rugs, vases, preserved flowers, pots and planters, and dinnerware carefully curated by its founder Nicole Li.
“This brand is really a way for me to express myself. I take things that I find not only visually pleasing but also evoke a sense of calm and share them with everyone else,” she tells us.
The aesthetic of the collection can only be described as effortless. Each piece in its simplicity and lightness meshes perfectly into a space at any time of the day. It’s uncomplicated, breezy and timeless.
“The name came to me while I was listening to the classic song Easy (Like Sunday Morning) by Lionel Richie,” Nicole shares with us. “It’s my go to jam when I wanna chill”. Sunday mornings are everyone’s favorite time of the week. Waking up relaxed, lounging through breakfast and giving yourself a moment to reflect in comfort of your own home.
With everything going on in the world right now, we all need a few extra Sunday mornings surrounded by pieces from Sunday Studios.
